Sudanese Mohammed Ayed Mansour, who resides in Dubai, revealed his keenness annually to attend and follow the «Dubai World Cup» from the stands, after he recorded in «Meydan», yesterday, his attendance for the 27th year in the strongest and most exciting evening in the field of horse racing in the world.

Mansour told Emirates Today: "The elevation and strength of the evening's runs, which have succeeded since its first edition in 1996 in attracting the elite owners, the strongest horses and the finest riders, were behind the constant keenness to attend annually and follow the (Dubai World Cup), whether at the (Nad Al Sheba) track, or the current architectural masterpiece (Meydan), which is the best horse tracks in the world."

He explained that «the link between equestrian sport and the cultural and civilizational heritage of the Sudanese people, was behind the continuity of the love of the sport of parents and grandparents, even when moving and living on the good land of the UAE, to make sure annually to follow the majority of the races of the season in general, and the most important and strongest evening in the world (Dubai World Cup) in the evening of the return of its fans who love horse racing in providing exciting races».

He added: "The evening, coinciding for the first time with the holy month of Ramadan, has an opportunity to show the message of tolerance, customs and traditions of Ramadan that characterize Arab families in the holy month to the whole world, as the race enjoys the presence of a large audience from all countries of the world, in addition to highlighting from the media the most important event in the horse racing calendar globally."
