Barcelona announces Araujo's injury

Barcelona announced the leaders of the Spanish football league standings, Monday, that Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo suffered a groin injury during the victory over Real Madrid in the "Clasico" Sunday.

The Uruguay international played the entire match in which Barcelona won 2-1 and scored a reverse goal against his club. But the victory kept the Catalan club 12 points clear of their rivals and rivals.
"Ronald Araujo has suffered a strain in the adductor muscle of his left thigh and will not be able to play until he recovers," the Blaugrana said in a statement, without mentioning how long the 24-year-old defender was out of action.
Araujo has made 22 appearances in various competitions for Barcelona this season.
