THE ESSENTIALS

  • Two weeks ago, the first Grand Prix of the season was marked in Bahrain by a one-two finish for Red Bull, with Max Verstappen winning and Sergio Perez in second place. If the Mexican will be in pole position this Sunday, the reigning world champion has experienced a hell of a failure in qualifying and is in 15th position on the starting grid.
  • This second Grand Prix will take place this Sunday (18 p.m. on Canal +) on the Jeddah circuit (6.174 km) in Saudi Arabia.
  • One of the great curiosities this Sunday will be to see if Fernando Alonso (2nd in qualifying) will confirm his surprising third place at the wheel of his Aston Martin in Bahrain.

09:00: Hello Minutos!

Hello world! Even more enjoyable than Drive to survive, there is obviously the live of each Formula 1 Grand Prix that 20 Minutes offers you. This Sunday, we are with us on the circuit of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to make you live the second race of the season which will start at 18 hours. No, do not get carried away, we are just like you rather in our sofa to liver you the double Alpine signed by our Frenchies Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. Oh that's okay, we can always dream a little name of dzou. Unless you live very far from the F1 planet, you are probably already preparing psychologically for a new double of Red Bull in the early evening, as Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez mastered their tranquillou subject two weeks ago in Bahrain. But beware, the reigning world champion has signed catas qualifiers and will be in 15th position on the starting line, very far from his teammate (1st). Enough to spice up this Grand Prix from the outset, while curiosities are not lacking, starting with the surprising Aston Martin of the eternal Fernando Alonso (3rd in Bahrain, 2nd in qualifying in Saudi Arabia), the expected awakening of Mercedes and especially Ferrari, and therefore our Alpine team 100% tricolor. Come on, we're going to vibrate, we'd almost commit to it.
