The Sudanese Crescent fails its fans and spreads joy in the fans of the Egyptian Al-Ahly

South African Sundowns team kept the chances of Al-Ahly of Egypt to qualify for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League football after a 1-1 draw with its host Al-Hilal of Sudan in the fifth and penultimate round of Group B matches in the group stage of the continental championship.
At Al Hilal Stadium, Sundowns took the lead with a goal through Julisu Mudao in the 67th minute, and five minutes later Mohamed Abdel Rahman Youssef equalized for the hosts.
Al Hilal had the opportunity to snatch the win and the qualification card, but Taher Al-Taher missed a penalty in stoppage time.
After securing their qualification for the quarter-finals, Sundowns raised their tally in the lead to 11 points compared to ten points for Al-Hilal in second place, Al-Ahli comes in third place with seven points and Cameroonian cotton is at the bottom of the standings without a balance.
In the last round of the group stage, Al Ahli will host Al Hilal and Sundowns will meet Al Qatan.
Al Ahli had swept its host cotton four goals without on Friday.
Al-Ahli lost to Al-Hilal in the first leg with a goal without reply, and therefore needs to win by a difference of more than one goal in order to cross to the quarter-finals, where the two teams will then be equal with ten points each, but Al-Ahli will excel on the difference of direct confrontations, while Al-Hilal needs to win or draw with any result against Al-Ahli to cross to the next round of the continental championship.
