Sharjah regained the tone of victories after its precious victory over its guest Al-Bataeh with three clean goals yesterday at Sharjah Stadium in the 20th round of the ADNOC Professional Football League, and Sharjah raised its score to 38 points, maintaining its fifth place, achieving its 11th victory in the league, after it had stumbled in the past three rounds by losing to Khorfakkan and Al Jazira respectively in the 17th and 18th rounds and drew with Al Wasl in the 19th round.

This loss deepened the wounds of Al-Bataeh after his balance froze at 17 points, falling to 12th place, and this is the team's 11th loss in the league.

Sharjah surprised Al-Bataeh by scoring the first goal through Cape Verdean striker George Djanini after only seven minutes from the start of the meeting, taking advantage of the pass of his colleague Spanish striker Paco Alcacer, while Brazilian Caio Lucas scored the second goal «41» after the match referee Hamad Ali Youssef resorted to video referee technology to confirm the validity of the goal, and Sharjah added his third goal through Djanini «72».
