MLB Pittsburgh's Ji-Man Choi hit his first home run in an exhibition game against his former team, Tampa Bay.

The same team's bid to break onto the Opening Day roster also had hits, RBIs and steals.

Ji-Man Choi made his fourth start as the designated hitter in an exhibition game against Tampa Bay in the 18 American Professional Baseball Championship at Recom Park in Bradenton, Florida, United States on the 2023th, and posted two hits, one hit and two RBIs.

Bae Jung-hwan, who started at shortstop as the No. 4 hitter and moved to second base during the game, also had two hits, one RBI and one stolen base.

The 'Korean Duo' combined the preemption.

Bae Bae-hwan, the leadoff hitter in the first inning, came out with a ball to right and stole second base.

He reached third base on Bryan Reynolds' grounder to second base, but Zack Swinski retired with a strikeout and stayed at third base.

It was Ji-Man Choi who brought Bae Bae-hwan home.

Ji-Man Choi hit a two-out third-base and Tampa Bay right-handed starter Luis Paninho's 2 kph slider for a two-run shot over the right-field fence.

The batted ball flew 1 meters at 2 km/h.

As he circled the ground, Ji-Man Choi looked mischievous at the Tampa Bay dugout where "former teammates" were gathered, and the Tampa Bay players cheerfully embraced.

After the game, Ji-Man Choi jokingly told the Tampa Bay Times, "I want to know what Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash thinks."

Ji-Man Choi was traded from Tampa Bay to Pittsburgh after the 1 season.

He expressed his regret for Tampa Bay with characteristic playfulness.

The extra point came from Bae Hwan's bat.

Bae hit a one-out single and two RBIs to right-center field in the bottom of the second inning to score his first RBI in an exhibition game this year.

The two had their first home run (Ji-Man Choi) and their first RBI (Bae Hwan) in an exhibition game before being replaced on defense in the seventh inning.

Ji-Man Choi's batting average in exhibition games increased from 2-for-2 to 1 to 1-for-1 (1 hits in 2 at-bats) and increased his RBI to 2.

His batting average in exhibition games also increased from 3-for-3 to 3-for-142 (164-for-114).
