The deadline is coming to an end. Last Thursday, the FFF indicated that the commission in charge of the succession of Corinne Deacon had eight or ten days to make a "recommendation" to interim president Philippe Diallo. Several names, recognized in women's football, were quickly evoked, such as PSG coach Gérard Prêcheur, Patrice Lair or Sonia Bompastor. Since then, others, a little less expected, have come to feed the reflections.

Gourvennec's "very detailed" project

The newspaper L'Equipe evokes this Thursday those of Thierry Henry and Jocelyn Gourvennec. The first would represent the "charisma" and "leadership" requested by Jean-Michel Aulas, member of the commission in charge of this file, when he had drawn up the portrait-robot of the ideal candidate. His name has been put forward in recent days by "several leaders of the FFF", reports the daily. However, it is not known at this stage if the former assistant of Roberto Martinez at the head of Belgium and ephemeral coach of Monaco is interested in the job.

Gourvennec has already received by the commission. Not conversed at the end of last season by Losc, with whom he had played the Champions League, the technician presented "a very detailed project" for the Blues. Advantage for him, Eric Blahic, former assistant of Diacre and appreciated by the players, has already worked with him at Guingamp and Bordeaux. Why not a third time?
