After the earthquake disaster. Cooper looks to make the Syrian people happy

The new Argentine coach of the Syrian national football team, Hector Cuper, expressed Thursday in Damascus his desire to "make the Syrian people happy after the difficult moments they experienced due to the earthquake."
A devastating 7.8-magnitude quake struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria on Monday, killing about 25,25 people in an indefinite toll.
In a press conference, his first since his appointment as coach of the Syrian national team in early February, to announce a list of 28 players to enter a preparatory camp in Dubai, during which he will play two international friendlies against Thailand and Bahrain on the 5th and 20th of this year, Cooper asked everyone to be patient and give the new technical staff "time to work."
Regarding the criteria for choosing the initial list of national team players, he said that they are within specific conditions, "that the player has the motivation, spirit, will and desire to represent the team to make his people and his people happy."
"I watched a large number of the Syrian national team's matches in the last three years, and I started to analyze in depth the difficulties facing the team, such as individual strengths and skills, and in the current period the biggest focus will be to get to know the players better and get closer to them to develop their skills," he added.
Cooper stressed that the door is "always open to any player with Syrian nationality who has the opportunity for you to join the national team."
Cooper's list included <> local players, Ibrahim Alama, Ahmed Madania, Thaer Koroma, Saad Ahmed and Amr Janyat, and <> players active in Arab and foreign clubs, led by Omar Al-Soma (Al-Arabi Al-Qatari), Omar Kharbin (Shabab Al-Ahli UAE) and Mahmoud Mawas (Iraqi Police).
The rest of the list included Maxim Sarraf, Amr Midani, Abdullah Al-Shami, Fares Arnaout, Khaled Kardghli, Abdul Rahman Weiss, Fahad Al-Yousef, Kamel Hamisha, Simon Amin, Oliver Casco, Mohammed Anz, Mohamed Rihaniyeh, Molham Babouli, Ammar Ramadan, Mohamed Marmour, Mohamed Hallaq and Mohamed Othman.
