The Snowboarding World Cup took place in Slovenia on Wednesday in the final round of the women's parallel giant slalom season, where 15-year-old Tsubaki Miki, who became the first Japan athlete to win gold in the event at last month's World Championships, finished third.

The final round of the snowboarding World Cup was held on the 15th in Logla, Slovenia, in which two athletes compete for time on a course lined up on each other at the same time.

On the women's side, Miki, who became the first Japan athlete to win gold in this event at last month's World Championships, finished third in the qualifying round and advanced to the final tournament where the top 2 players competed.

Miki, who advanced to the semi-finals, lost to an Austrian player and faced an Italian player in the third-place match.

In the third-place match, Miki jumped out from the start to take the lead, and even towards the end of the match, he shook off a tenacious opponent with a steady turn to finish and finish in third place in the final round of this season's World Cup.

Among Japan, 3-year-old Tomoka Takeuchi also advanced to the final tournament, but lost to Miki in the first round and finished in 16th place.
