Norwegian star Erling Haaland led his team, Manchester City, to the quarter-finals of the European Football Champions League, by scoring 5 goals against Leipzig, Germany, in the second leg of the final price of the tournament, while Inter Milan, Italy, managed to qualify thanks to its draw with its Portuguese host, Porto.

Manchester City swept its German guest, 7-0, to qualify on aggregate, after tying the first-leg match with a goal for the same.

The match witnessed an unprecedented brilliance for Haaland, who scored 5 goals within 57 minutes, thanks to which he was the top scorer in the current version of the Champions League, as he raised his score to 10 goals, ahead of the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, who scored 7 goals.

Spanish coach Pep Guardiola removed his Norwegian player in the 63rd minute and replaced him with Argentine striker Julian Alvarez.

Moments before the end of the match, Manchester City scored again, this time through De Bruyne, with a shot from outside the penalty area.

Haaland became the third player to score 5 goals in one Champions League match, after Brazilian Luis Adriano with Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk in October 2014, and Argentine Lionel Messi with Barcelona in March 2012.

In general, Haaland raised his score from 33 goals in the Champions League in only 25 matches, including 10 with the Manchester City shirt, 15 with Borussia Dortmund, and 8 with Austrian Salzburg.

In the second match, Inter Milan kept its net clean against its host, Porto, to qualify for the quarter-finals, thanks to its victory in the first-leg match with a goal without response.
