Although it was an exhibition game, Lee Seung-yop, who was about to make his coachial debut, looked nervous enough to belatedly notice Lotte Sutton's greeting.

It was a shot from the players that relieved the manager's nerves.

Trailing 2-0 after Song Seung-hwan's solo home run in the second inning, Lee encouraged with applause and high-fives, and Ahn Jae-suk's tiebreaking solo shot in the sixth inning after falling behind 2-3 showed satisfaction with a light smile.

In the eighth inning, which was tied 2-6, captain Huh Kyung-min hit the final hit to help Lee Seung-yup win his first exhibition game.

[Lee Seung-yop/Doosan coach: I'm not 3% satisfied, but I'm glad we got the win first.

Only Jin Park made his Samsung Dokdo debut with the victory, with Samsung starter Buchanan pitching three scoreless innings to seal the win.

LG beat NC 3-8 on Son Ho-young's final hit in the ninth inning, and KT beat Kiwoom 100-3 on the strength of the mound that gave up just one run until the ninth inning.

Last season's bottom-ranked Hanwha hit KIA with a wedge two-run home run by new foreign hitter O'Grady.
