The main race of the first round of the UAE Powerboat Championship "Category 3" kicks off today at Abu Dhabi's Breakwater. Abu Dhabi 4, led by Faleh Al Mansouri and Sean Torrente, recorded yesterday the best time through the kilo breaking competition, after achieving a time of 2:43:777 seconds in the race track, and the boat «Abu Dhabi 5» led by Majid Al Mansoori and Rashid Al Tayer, came second with a time of 2:45:758, and came third boat «Axum Marine» with a time of 2:48:249.
The kilo-breaking competition lasted for a full hour, at the end of which the boat «Abu Dhabi 4» shone with the best time, and to be the first to start through the main race today.
A number of boats will participate in the competitions, most notably Abu Dhabi 5 led by Majid Al Mansoori and Rashid Al Tayer, Abu Dhabi 4 led by Faleh Al Mansoori and Ashton Torrente, Fazza led by Aref Al Zaffin and Nader Buhindi, Q8 led by Abdullatif Al Omani and Bader Al Dosari, and Axum Marine led by Dimitri Vandoshev and Michael Kathachev.
