Gripen from Trollhättan had to qualify to remain in the elite series, after they ended the season with a worse goal difference than Vänersborg.

But now, with one round left of the qualifying game, it is clear that the team will have a chance to take revenge in the elite series next season.

They won 6–3 away against Åby/Tjureda and thus have a three-point lead down to Kungälv in third place, with only one round left of the qualifying game.

- We're going to eat pizza now and then we're going to sleep in Jönköping and we'll see what happens there.

Personally, I'm going to mix myself into a big damn grog, says two-goal shooter William Arvidsson to Bandypuls, and goes on to say that it has been a difficult time since it became clear that the team had to qualify to remain in the country's highest league:

- Phew, but I haven't been feeling very well.

It's been hard ever since it was finished.

It's been full of anxiety and I've been in that classic bandy bubble where this qualifier has been the only thing I've been thinking about, so it's incredibly nice that it's finished now.

It's like a big stone has dropped on everyone and we just go and enjoy.

Frillesås currently holds the second and last elite series place.

They already meet Åby/Tjureda in the last round on Sunday, and also have a ten-goal better goal difference than third-placed Kungälv.
