Bayern Munich and AC Milan reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, after the first renewed its victory over Paris Saint-Germain, and the second tied with Tottenham Hotspur.

In the first match at the “Allianz Arena”, Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain with two clean goals, after also winning the first leg in Paris last week with a goal without a response.

Cameroonian Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the first goal for the "Bavarian" team in the 60th minute, taking advantage of a defensive error by the Italian Marco Verratti, the Paris Saint-Germain player, who made a mistake in passing the ball to be snatched by Leon Goritska, who presented the opportunity on a plate of gold to Moting.

Paris Saint-Germain tried to equalize, hoping to preserve its hopes of qualifying, but it was unable to reach the goal of Swiss goalkeeper Jan Sommer, amid a strong performance from the German team, which benefited from playing at home and among its fans.

Serge Gnabry scored Bayern Munich's second goal in the last minute of the match, after a counterattack that ended with a powerful shot past Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

In the second match, Milan came out with a goalless draw with its host Tottenham in London, to snatch the qualifying card to the quarter-finals, benefiting from its victory in the first leg with a goal without a response.

There were many attempts by Tottenham to score a goal that would return the confrontation to the starting point, but it faltered against the steadfastness of Milan, who benefited from the expulsion of Argentine "Spurs" defender Christian Romero in the 78th minute, which eased the burden on the Italian team.
