Torgny Mogren tells us that he helped build the club's center.
- It is incredibly difficult to see that the fine building that I once helped build has burned to the ground.
All the memories that were left there too.
It is tragic, he says and continues:
- The Åsarna ski center itself is a well-known concept.
You meet people every week or two who have traveled that distance and always stopped to eat and watch the prize collection.
In Åsarna ski center there was a museum with old medals and the like from the careers of the legends.
- There are prizes and memories from competitions.
Admittedly, we had made copies of all the Olympic and World Cup medals, so they are still there.
But there are many other curiosities that have gone up in smoke.
That's a lot, says Mogren.
