Professional baseball player Shogo Akiyama of Hiroshima has decided to invite parents and children of single-parent families to this season's home games in order to support single-parent families.

Mr. Akiyama from Hiroshima has invited members of two organizations in the prefecture that support single-parent families to spend time with their families while watching baseball games. I decided to invite my parents.

Specifically, there will be 4 games against Yakult on the 16th of next month, against Hanshin on May 5th, against Seibu on June 18th, and against DeNA on August 1st. 120 people.

Akiyama lost his father when he was in the 6th grade of elementary school and was raised in a single-parent household. I decided to continue.

Akiyama commented, "I was given this opportunity because I wanted to carry out activities to support single-parent families even after I came to Hiroshima. I hope that parents and children will have a good time while supporting the local team." I'm here.

The application period is until the 24th of this month, and two organizations that support single-parent families accept applications by fax and mail.
