As at the beginning of each season, the general public is curious to know the salaries of each driver on the Formula 1 grid. A true queen discipline of motorsport, Formula 1 amazes enthusiasts around the world throughout the year and attracts the most dreamy to try their luck to get started in this sport. But how much do the drivers of each team earn?
Unsurprisingly, the highest paid in the paddock is two-time reigning world champion Max Verstappen.
But who is on his heels? How much do the French earn? Who inherits the least remuneration? A brief overview of the salaries of the drivers who risk their lives on the Grands Prix in order to make us live a spectacle of all the moments of 23 races.
According to estimates made by the famous Forbes magazine, here are the salaries they receive (obviously, this does not take into account bonuses, because the amount of these are kept secret):

These figures are to be taken with a grain of salt but, as an indication, they make it possible to establish a certain classification.
It should be noted that pilots' salaries are excluded from the capped budget, the limit of which will increase from 145 to 135 million euros in 2023.
As the teams gain in value, the drivers should be increased.
