Sweden, with Emma Ribom, Ebba Andersson, Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist, in the team, were big favorites for the gold in the women's relay.

But it didn't work out, and after Frida Karlsson was forced to release Ingvild Flugstad Östberg at the end of the third leg, it was only a bronze for the team in the end.

Karlsson critical

- I'm working a little hard to catch up and then I think I'm not keeping up downhill.

Haven't had such good skiing, Karlsson told SVT Sport after the race.

Herd manager Petter Myhlback disagreed.

- I don't think it's the material that gets in the way, but I think that many TV viewers are very knowledgeable and see what's happening out in the track.

There is also a slight irritation, that as soon as sporting achievements do not go where the dreams are, it is the material that sits in between, and in reality it is probably not so true, he told SVT Sport.

Had a meeting

According to information to several Swedish media, Karlsson was not satisfied with Myhlback's statement, and now the bullpen manager is poodle.

- Of course I regret them, he says in Viaplay and talks about a meeting the team had yesterday regarding the incident.

- We had a good chat with the whole group of girls.

When it gets as messy as it was, it affects the whole team.

We always have a dialogue and I think we came a long way yesterday.
