Norway was the mega favorite in the men's relay, 4x10 kilometers in the WC in Planica.

With so many strong stars, the team selection is a challenge and the fact that Hans Christer Holund won the first stage caused some reactions in our neighboring country.

He himself was very nervous before the start.

- I am relieved, there is a lot of pressure to run the relay for Norway and I am happy that it went the way it did, says Holund.

The Norwegian says that his thoughts were spinning during the night and that he probably only slept for an hour.

Once at the start, he made the excitement short when he made a decisive move after just a few minutes.

- Many have seen me more as a good skater, but I was keen to do a good stretch and show my strength also in classical.

Then 10 kilometers is quite short for me.

The plan was to keep the speed from the start to avoid problems and when I got a gap it was just to drive.

Johannes Hösflot Kläbo had a calm final stretch as Norway had a big lead.

He followed Holund's jerk from the wall bus.

"What is happening?", he exclaimed.

Finland took the silver and Germany took the bronze.

Sweden finished sixth in the relay.
