Al Ain coach reveals the reason for the early replacement of top scorer Laba Kodjo

Al Ain coach, Sergey Rebrov, confirmed that his team achieved the most important against their rival Dibba by winning the match between the two teams on Thursday and getting the three points, in addition to that all his players were not injured, referring to the fatigue factor they played against "Al-Nawakhada" a few days after the super match against Al-Wahda, which depleted the fitness stock of the players.
The coach explained in the press conference the reason behind his early replacement of the team's top scorer, international Lapa Kodjo, and said: "He was not upset and personally I understand his situation, he is a goalscorer and in every game he looks to score goals, especially since the fans are always waiting for him to score, but he entered that match suffering from stress, and it is important to keep the player for the next match."
On whether the decision to replace is related to the previous two warnings and the fear of getting the third warning, which may deprive him of playing the Al Wahda match, he said: "The third warning and suspension have nothing to do with the decision to replace Laba at all and personally I understand the situation of the player, who was actually exhausted, as I mentioned to you."
On the other hand, the captain of Dibba Al-Fujairah, Khalid Abdullah, expressed his disappointment after the loss that their team received in the match, and pointed out in press statements that the hosts took advantage of the half chances and succeeded in scoring three goals, pointing out that they as players should review themselves and work better in the coming rounds.
