The day after her singles title, Perrine Laffont became for the fifth time in her career world champion of mogul skiing by winning Sunday in Bakuriani (Georgia) the title in parallel.

The Frenchwoman achieved this double for the first time in her career, after winning world gold in parallel in 2017 and 2019 and in singles in 2021. With five world titles, at 24 she became the most successful mogul skier in history ahead of Canada's Jennifer Heil and Norway's Kari Traa, who won gold four times.

A year after the disillusionment of the Olympics, where she had only taken fourth place, the native of Lavelanet confirms that she is indeed back to the highest.
