President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and their brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, attended a luncheon hosted by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Boutheeb International Endurance Village in Al Khatem, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 126 riders representing 36 countries around the world.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for winning the World Endurance Championship.

His Highness said in a tweet on «Twitter»: «A fraternal meeting brought me together with the President of our state, may God protect him, and the King of Bahrain on the occasion of Nasser bin Hamad's victory in the World Endurance Championship. Congratulations on the achievement of Bahrain, its King and its people."

His Highness added: "Nasser bin Hamad's victory in the World Endurance Championship over a distance of 160 km is a victory for all of us and is added to Bahrain's record in international forums. Nasser bin Hamad is a model of a successful young leader who does not know the impossible. Congratulations."

The banquet was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
