During the championship, Hanna Öberg competed in everything that went: Seven events between February 8 and 19.

It squeezed out of the body after giving three medals, of which the crowning achievement was the gold in Sunday's mass start.

- You were quite tired after a championship and some travel.

Now I look forward to being able to enjoy this championship for a long time to come, says Hanna Öberg.

The championship was an emotional rollercoaster that began with Sebastian Samuelsson, also participating in seven events, pushing Sweden away in the mixed relay after having loose screws in his rifle.

Celebrated with a glass of bubbly

From being scolded and mocked, he was able to leave the WC in Oberhof with four medals: Three bronzes and Sunday's gold in the mass start, where he broke Johannes Thingnes Bö himself in the sprint lap.

- It's nice to be able to be at home for a couple of days and relax and not think so much about biathlon in the coming days, says Sebastian Samuelsson, who celebrated with a glass of bubbly and talked through the experience with those closest to him.

Sweden's previous record of six medals at a World Cup rose to a breathtaking eleven - and then the previously strongest card Elvira Öberg, second in the overall World Cup, only took a bronze in the women's relay.

A sore throat spoiled her championship.

The next competition in the World Cup is in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, March 2-5.
