The French women's team will play two friendly matches in April, to prepare for the Women's Football World Cup (July 20 – August 20).

Wendy Renard's Les Bleues will host Colombia on April 7 in Clermont-Ferrand and Canada on April 11 in Le Mans.

The Colombians are 27th in the FIFA world rankings while the Canadians, reigning Olympic champions, are hot on the heels of the Blues in sixth place.

Last rally in April before the World Cup

The April gathering is the last before the list of players selected by coach Corinne Deacon for the World Cup scheduled for this summer in Australia and New Zealand.

Before their departure for Oceania, Les Bleues will also play another friendly match on July 6 in Dublin against the Republic of Ireland.
