Jonna Sundling comes to the WC in Planica as the reigning Olympic and WC gold medalist in the sprint.

But last season the sprint specialist was also responsible for good results in distance races.

She was fourth in the three-mile in the Olympics and third in the same distance in Holmenkollen.

Before the season, she opened up about not only sprinting at the WC, but competing in all the races.

With just days to go until the World Cup premiere, it doesn't look like it will be like that.

- I stand by that, that it would have been really cool to be able to go to all the competitions.

Then I know today that it will be tough to do exactly every single competition even if the body allows.

Priority one for me is the sprint, and the sprints, so the skiathlon is a bit risky, you might say.

But the rest I definitely want to go if my body allows, says Jonna Sundling to SVT Sport.

The WC competitions are close to each other.

The championship begins with an individual sprint on Thursday and just two days later the women's skiathlon is decided.

Did it feel like a more realistic dream scenario before the season started?

- No, it's just as realistic now.

It depends on where you want to put your gunpowder too, I think.
