Will Jonathan Danty be aligned with the Blues on Sunday against Scotland in the Six Nations Tournament?

The center of the Blues returns from injury and could return.

Romain Buros was spared training for the France team on Tuesday.

Jonathan Danty, back on the pitch on Sunday?

This is the question that supporters of the XV of France ask themselves before the third match of the Blues of the Six Nations Tournament, Sunday, against Scotland.

The center of La Rochelle Jonathan Danty, absent due to an injury during the first two matches of the Tournament, returned to the lawns of Marcoussis but wore the chasuble of the substitutes.

The Rochelais, injured in the knee at the very end of 2022, was retained by Fabien Galthié to prepare for the match against Scotland on Sunday.

If he only played 40 minutes in the Top 14 this weekend, the center with 18 selections is back and could benefit from his status as an executive with the Blues.

Victim of a rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament at the end of December, Danty (30 years old, 18 selections) was initially to be absent for two months.

Buros spared

Returning faster than expected, the former Stade Français player participated in the victory against Castres (32-17) on Saturday in the Top 14, coming into play in the 39th minute.

He trained on Tuesday with a big knee brace and did not yet seem 100% five days away from receiving Scotland.

Romain Buros (25, 0 caps), who played Sunday against Clermont (18-9) in the Top 14, was spared but his participation is not in question, explained a federal source to several journalists, including the AFP.

The composition of the team that will face the XV of Thistle on Sunday will be announced on Friday by Fabien Galthié and Rapahël Ibanez.

The Blues, sluggish winners of Italy (29-24) before falling in Ireland (32-19), receive Scotland on Sunday during the 3rd day of the Six Nations Tournament.

Finn Russell's teammates beat England (29-23) and Wales (35-7).
