The national beach soccer team continues its preparation program to participate in the Asian Cup finals, which will be held in the Thai city of Pattaya from March 16 to 26, with the participation of 16 teams divided into four groups, where our team plays in Group B along with the teams of Iran, Malaysia and Uzbekistan.

Last week, the Beach Whites played three friendly matches against Morocco at Al Mamzar Stadium in Dubai, winning one match and losing two by 5-4, 3-5, 5-5 and after moving to penalties (4-5), respectively.

The team is expected to play three friendlies this weekend against world champions Russia before travelling to Thailand.

For his part, the coach of the Brazilian beach soccer team, Victor, said that the preparation program is proceeding as required, both in training sessions and friendly matches, which witnessed the participation of all players in the ranks of the team in order to determine their levels and their technical and physical readiness, noting that past experiences showed homogeneity among the team.

Regarding the confrontation with the Russian team, the coach stressed that it is of great importance, especially since the Russian team includes in its ranks a group of distinguished players who were able to achieve the title of the last world championship and therefore it is a good opportunity for us to stand on our real level before entering the Asian Championship, through which we aspire to appear in a distinctive way and compete for the title.
