Last week in Abu Dhabi, she lost to Shelby Rogers in qualifying.
The WTA 1000 tournament, with a prize pool of about $3 million, will be held in Dubai from February 19 to 25.
Earlier it was reported that Zvonareva and Zhaoxuan were unable to reach the final of the doubles tournament in Doha.
