Two competitions with Swedish participation and no medals in Courchevel/Meribel.

Things are not looking good for Sweden so far during the WC.

But for Norway things are going all the better and during the parallel giant slalom yesterday they struck with three medals.

Maria Therese Tviberg got to step on the very top of the podium.

- We have to hope that Hector drives well in the giant slalom.

I like the Swedes so we get to cheer them on.

They have every opportunity in both giant slalom and slalom, she says.

Whether Tviberg is right remains to be seen when the giant slalom starts today at 09.45.

The second ride starts at 1:30 p.m.

Sara Hector starts as number two and is one of four Swedes.

In addition to Hector, Estelle Alphand, Hanna Aronsson Elfman and Hilma Lövblom start.
