The season is over for 21-year-old Linnea Mobärg.
She injured herself during training in Reiteralm and the examination at home in Stockholm showed that she has suffered both an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament and a meniscus injury.
“Can't understand how quickly life can be turned upside down.
I had a very good start to the season and felt strong for my second World Championship.
But I crashed in practice and hurt my knee.
My heart is broken.
But I will do everything to get back on the skis as soon as possible", writes Linnea Mobärg on Instagram.
Linnea Mobärg will now have surgery on her right knee.
A year ago she took JVM silver, Mobärg went to the first World Cup final of her career just before Christmas in Innichen, Italy.
The WC in ski cross is decided between February 19 and March 5 in Bakuirani, Georgia.
