Isac Born had never before scored a goal in the SHL.

But in Frölunda's first period against Linköping, he scored two - and gave Frölunda a 2-0 lead at the break.

Thus, Isac Born was the one who shone the most in Frölunda's brilliant youth chain, where he is joined by 17-year-olds David Edström and Otto Stenberg.

At 1–0, Born came completely free on a pass from Edström, when Frölunda stopped a Linköping attack.

- First I dropped the club in the corner.

That's why the hill lost me, Isac Born admits to C More during the break.

Born to score?

The shot past Marcus Högberg in Linköping's goal was as cool as it gets.

A few minutes later, Isac Born struck again.

David Edström won the puck, Anders Grönlund shot and Born poked in the rebound.

- You don't think too much.

It just happens, says Isac Born about his second SHL goal.

After the break, Frölunda's older guard did not want to be worse.

It only took about two minutes in the second period before Ryan Lasch, 36, and Joel Lundqvist, 40, increased the score to 4–0.

Anthony Greco made it 5-0 before half the game had even been played.

Linköping struggled

Anyone who expected an even battle between an injury-hit Frölunda and a rather in-form Linköping - had to think again.

But Linköping played itself up, after all.

Just before the second break, Vilmos Gallo reduced the score to 5–1.

- We are trying to lift the game and get some kind of spark in the team, says Jonas Junland, the team captain in Linköping, to C More.

Early in the third act, however, Anthony Greco made it 6–1, with his fourth goal in two games.

It led to Frölunda's biggest victory this season.

Linköping continues to have problems at home.

There they are the worst of all teams in the SHL.
