This is a huge slap for the French camp this Thursday, during the Worlds of Courchevel and Meribel. Expected on the podium of the giant, and perhaps at the top at the end of a first round completed in 2nd place, Tessa Worley fell during the second.

World champion of the specialty in 2013 and 2017, the 33-year-old Frenchwoman did not manage the pass of three on the track of Meribel.

On the other hand, the American Mikaela Shiffrin won the only race missing from her huge record ahead of the Italian Federica Brignone and the Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel, respectively second at 12 hundredths, and third at 22 hundredths. Winning silver last week in the Super-G, Shiffrin won his seventh title and 13th medal at a Worlds.

Best Tricolore, Coralie Frasse Sombet finished ninth.
