His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai noted the growing position of the Dubai Airshow as a major driver for the development of the global aviation industry and complementary industries, which is evidenced by the volume of billion deals that were held in previous editions, and during this session, since its launch on November 13, as the great economic impact of the exhibition increases the fact that the event is witnessing partnerships that bring together all parties concerned with this sector, with all its great importance globally, and the positive developments that pave the way for these partnerships. This came during His Highness' tour yesterday at the Dubai Airshow, which kicked off its 18th session last Monday, with the participation of more than 1400,148 exhibitors from 17 countries, making it the largest in the history of the exhibition, and will continue until November <>.
During the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Space Agency, and a number of senior officers of the armed forces and officials.
Technologies & Aircraft
During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the latest technologies and aircraft, some of which are displayed for the first time through the exhibition, and stopped in front of the platforms of the participating international entities, including the pavilion of Lockheed Martin, which specializes in the field of military industries, and was briefed on the advanced solutions offered at the exhibition by the company, whose business covers about 70 countries.
His Highness listened to an explanation of the main themes that the global company focuses on at the exhibition, foremost of which are artificial intelligence solutions, which the company relies on in analyzing problems that may face its aircraft, and then finding appropriate solutions related to maintenance, as well as the company's interest in cybersecurity solutions, as the company builds its systems on board aircraft, helicopters and ships and links them to each other to protect information from any hacking or penetration.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai stopped in front of the Archer light passenger aircraft, which is one of the distinguished aircraft included in the exhibition in this session, and reflects the development in the field of sustainable solutions for the transport of individuals, and the electric Midnight aircraft can accommodate four passengers, in addition to the pilot, and has been designed to make fast flights with a minimum charging time for the engine, and can be used in air taxi flights within cities.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inspected the Brazilian Air Force's PT-ZNG transport aircraft, which is characterized by being competitive, in terms of cost, with a payload of about 26 tons, and can conduct refueling operations in the air, and is capable of carrying 34 tons of fuel, in addition to the ability of the huge aircraft to take off and land on short runways, not equipped.

His Highness was keen to visit the platform of the UAE Space Agency, and listened to an explanation of the agency's participation in the global event, through which it reviews its most prominent projects and initiatives, including the "Space Economic Zones Program", which includes opportunities for private startups, as well as providing an opportunity for researchers and scientists to learn about their most prominent innovative research in the field of space science and technology, with the aim of supporting start-ups, small and medium enterprises, and stimulating the national space economy, by providing economic initiatives and incentives, in cooperation with various partners in State.
Mubadala Platform
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited Mubadala Development Company's stand (Mubadala), where he was briefed on the details of its fifth consecutive participation at the Dubai Airshow, and through its subsidiaries, operating in the aerospace and information and communication technology industries, including Al Yah Satellite Communications (Yahsat), Piaggio Aerospace, Nibras Al Ain Complex, Sanad Aerospace Solutions, SR Technics, Strata Manufacturing (Strata), and Turbine Services & Solutions. for the aviation industry."
