Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Kashavarzadeh said that holding the first round of anti-terrorism consultative dialogues between Iran, China and Pakistan in Beijing will play an important role in the stability and security of this region.

Kashavarzadeh said on his Twitter account today: The agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia to re-establish relations and China's welcome of the Iranian-Saudi-UAE maritime alliance are positive developments in the West Asian region, stressing that it will play an important role in the stability and security of the region.

IRNA news agency reported that representatives of the foreign ministers of China, Iran and Pakistan held a trilateral security meeting yesterday in the Chinese capital, Beijing, during which they discussed a number of issues, especially with regard to combating terrorism within the region and beyond national borders.
