The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) today announced the arrest of a resident of the Primorye Territory on charges of spying for Ukrainian military intelligence.
Sputnik quoted the service as saying in a statement: "It was established that a resident of Primorye, on the instructions of Ukrainian military intelligence, collected and transmitted information about the military infrastructure in the region, where it can be used against the security of Russia."
The statement noted that the Investigation Department of the Russian Federal Security Service opened a criminal case against the suspect, under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia, for high treason.
On the 26th of last month, Russian Federal Security Forces thwarted an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack against a government headquarters in the city of Glencik in the Krasnodar Territory, and arrested the perpetrator.
