The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) warned private sector establishments with 50 or more skilled employees of not adhering to meeting the semi-annual Emiratisation targets of 1% of the total skilled labor registered with them, stressing that "non-compliant establishments have only 24 days left to achieve the Emiratisation targets," noting that a fine starting from 42,1 dirhams will be collected for each citizen who has not been appointed, starting from the first of next July. In an indicative video broadcast on its official pages on social media platforms, the Ministry confirmed that once the deadline for establishments to meet the Emiratization targets is over, it will begin conducting a review of the commitment of the targeted establishments, and imposing financial contributions on establishments that do not meet the 2022% semi-annual Emiratization rate, in addition to the remaining financial contributions for the year <> on non-compliant establishments.

She explained that the new mechanism to achieve Emiratisation targets aims to ensure the continuity of employment of nationals throughout the year, maintain their fulfillment rates in the private sector, and sustain the provision of job opportunities and offer vacancies on the "Nafes" platform throughout the year, in line with the pace of registration of job seekers.

The Ministry called on employers in the private sector to join the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Program (NAFES) to help the targeted establishments achieve the required Emiratization growth rates, by providing them with qualified Emirati cadres to work in skilled jobs, explaining that the platform provides a package of support and incentives for distinguished establishments that achieve qualitative achievements in training and employing citizens, in accordance with the objectives of the "Nafes" program, including joining the Emiratisation Partners Club, which raises the classification of the establishment to the first category, within the established establishments classification system. with the Ministry, thus obtaining discounts of up to 80% on the Ministry's services.
