He acted for several years in his workplace. A 50-year-old man was tried Thursday before the criminal court of Rennes for many facts of invasion of privacy, reports Ouest-France. Between 2014 and 2020, the individual captured and stole private photos and videos of about thirty women. A computer engineer, he had managed to hack into the computers of some of his colleagues to gain access to their data.

The individual also photographed under the skirts and made pornographic photomontages with the faces of some of his victims. The fifty-year-old had also installed a camera in the bathroom of his ex-girlfriend to observe him and his daughter-in-law in the shower.

In total, more than 3,000 carefully classified photos and videos were found on his hard drive. The individual received a two-year suspended sentence. He will also have to compensate his victims up to 24,000 euros.
