Occupied Jerusalem-SANA

The Palestinian Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs revealed today the deterioration of the health condition of three prisoners in the occupation detention centers as a result of its repressive violations against them, namely Walid Masalmeh, Ahmed Salah and Sami Jaradat.

According to WAFA news agency, the Commission explained that the prisoner Masalma, 49, from the town of Beit Awwa in the city of Hebron, who is sentenced to life imprisonment, faces deliberate medical negligence and procrastination in providing him with treatment, especially since he has been suffering for three years from a kidney stone and pain in the muscle of his left leg.

The Commission pointed out that the prisoner Salah, 52 years old from Bethlehem, sentenced to 21 life imprisonment and 10 years, suffers from lung fibrosis and colitis, while the prisoner Jaradat, 55, from the town of Al-Silah Al-Harithia in Jenin, sentenced to 21 life imprisonment and 50 years, complains of urinary tract problems and blockage in the urethra.

The Commission called on international institutions, human rights institutions and the Red Cross to play their role to save the lives of prisoners victims of the policy of deliberate medical negligence by the occupation against them and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
