According to RIA Novosti, several buildings were slightly damaged following a drone attack that took place early Tuesday morning in Moscow, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

All eight drones were shot down, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed on the same day.

The targeted building is located in the southwest of Moscow and was hit by a drone around 05:00 on Tuesday. Fortunately there was no explosion.

"A strange noise woke me up around 05:00. I got up and looked through the peephole, just to be safe. I saw the police and security guards, so I opened the door. There was a smell of kerosene. I asked what had happened. Security guards said a drone hit our building and they were evacuating residents," said a resident of the attacked building.
