Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia stressed that Moscow will respond forcefully to any attacks by the Kiev regime on the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, power supply lines and the city of Energaudar.
"The proposals of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi on the nuclear plant are in line with the actions taken by Russia, as there are no military personnel or military equipment and no attacks are launched from the plant," Nebenzia was quoted by RT as saying during a meeting of the UN Security Council, noting that Russia intends to take all possible measures to enhance the nuclear and physical safety of the plant in accordance with national legislation and obligations arising from the relevant international legal instruments that Moscow is a party. in them.
The Security Council held a meeting at which the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) presented his proposals to ensure the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
