Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and head of the United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev stressed that it is necessary to move away from neocolonial practices and leave them to the past, and make way for a multipolar world, describing the state of the world today as "far from justice."

During the second meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Unification of Political and Social Forces, held under the title "Forum of Supporters of Combating Modern Practices of Neocolonialism", Medvedev called for the need to eliminate harmful and perpetual neocolonial practices forever, in order to make room for building a more just world.
