President Sergio Mattarella will be received by the head of state French, Emmanuel Macron, on June 7 in Paris. The two heads of state will inaugurate the exhibition "Naples in Paris" at the Louvre museum. The confirmation comes from the Elysée with a note, which specifies that after the inauguration Mattarella will have a meeting at the presidential palace with Macron.

"This visit demonstrates the relationship of trust and friendship between the two presidents, as well as the exceptional ties that unite our two countries. These ties are expressed in particular through a rich bilateral cultural cooperation, which occupies a central place in the Treaty of the Quirinale".

The exhibition "Naples in Paris" - continues the presidency French - "honors the historical ties between France and Italy: the Capodimonte Museum in Naples has lent about sixty of its greatest masterpieces to the Louvre museum, they will dialogue with its collections and complete them, with works little known in France. The reunion of the two collections will allow a unique look at Italian painting in France". The Elysée adds that "Rima Abdul-Malak, Minister of Culture, and Gennaro Sangiuliano, Italian Minister of Culture, will also participate in the visit".
