Fire brigades of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies have put out a fire at the Avibsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Territory.

Sputnik quoted regional governor Vinyamin Kondratiev as saying on Telegram that the fire was apparently caused by the fall of a drone and its explosion in the refinery, pointing out that this led to the burning of one of the heavy fuel distillation units.

Kondratiev said there were no injuries from the fire and authorities were continuing their investigation into the incident.

In another context, the representative office of the Donetsk People's Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to Ukrainian War Crimes announced that Ukrainian forces bombarded the Petrovsky region with five shells, causing material damage.

The Petrovsky region is located on the western outskirts of the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic.
