Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov confirmed that Washington is granting Kiev a "deed of forgiveness" to continue the war, by publicly ignoring the recent drone attacks on Moscow.

RT quoted Antonov as saying in a press statement: "The only thing that the so-called politicians in Ukraine listen to is the position of the West, led by the United States," considering that "Western silence and ignoring the atrocities committed by the beheaders is a kind of leniency for the Nazis to continue their useless actions."

Antonov pointed out that Washington's statements about the terrorist attack on residential facilities in Moscow, using drones, are in fact encouragement for the actions of terrorists, explaining that the United States hides behind phrases such as gathering information, and then officials turn to a media attack against Russia.

"Does the US administration not understand that no one believes the American slogans about not supporting Ukrainian forces' strikes on Russian territory," Antonov asked, noting that the United States is deliberately pushing to provoke hostilities in Europe, while "the outbreak of a clash between NATO and Russia remains a dream of nationalist radicals in Kiev."

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Ukraine tried yesterday to carry out a terrorist attack to target residential facilities in Moscow and its suburbs using drones, all of which were destroyed.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in his comment on the drone attack: "This is the Kiev regime's response to the effective strikes carried out by Russian forces against its forces.
