He would have acted between 2013 and 2017 while he intervened as a temporary animator in a leisure center in La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée). A 32-year-old man is to be tried this Wednesday before the judicial court of Nantes for the sexual assault of twelve girls aged 3 to 6 years at the time of the facts, reports France Bleu Loire Ocean.

The case broke out in the summer of 2017 with the testimony of a little girl who told her mother that the host kissed her mouth and caressed different parts of her body including sex. The accused had initially denied the facts, but the testimonies had accumulated. He had finally recognized in custody a form of fetishism for tights. According to Ouest-France, photos of the victims had been found at his home as well as videos of child pornography.

Acts qualified as assaults and not rape

He was remanded in custody and released a year later and placed under judicial supervision. At the time, the investigation also targeted alleged rape. But for lack of material evidence, the facts were finally reclassified as sexual assault, the judge in charge of the case therefore opting for correctionalization rather than a trial at the assizes.

According toFrance Bleu Loire Océan, other complaints from families, filed since, are still in the hands of justice.
