With the participation of more than 100 contestants, the third phase of the Youth Artistic Talents Studio competition began today at the level of Aleppo, which is held by the Revolutionary Youth Union Organization at Al-Basel Mixed High School for outstanding students, in the fields of playing, singing, acting and expressive and popular dance.

The secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Muhammad Turki Diab, said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the competition aims to attract talented young people in the field of arts in all its fields, and allow them to present their artistic talents on stage, stressing the organization's keenness to hold these competitions to encourage the young generation to be creative and highlight their potential and creative abilities, refine them and motivate them to develop them for the better.

Walid Tahhan, a member of the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Union in Aleppo, explained that the participants today were selected after they passed the qualifying stage at the levels of units and links, and the distinguished ones will be selected to participate in the next stage at the central level.

Ruba Al-Naasani, a member of the jury in the field of playing, pointed out that the participants today play various percussion, eastern and western musical instruments, and the distinguished ones will be selected through several points, including the extent of the contestant's knowledge of his musical instrument practically and theoretically, and his dealings with it and musical sense.

In the field of singing, jury member Salwa Jameel explained that the selection will be based on several criteria, including the character and quality of the voice and musical culture.
