The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced today that Ukrainian forces opened fire on a temporary shelter for residents of the Chebinsky district of the province, killing and wounding them.

Gladkov said during an interview with the "Rossiya 24" television channel: Ukrainian armed forces fired on a temporary shelter for residents of the rural Chebinsky region, killing and wounding them, without specifying their number.

Gladkov stressed in response to a question that the annexation of Kharkov to the Belgorod province is the best way to solve the problem of the bombing of Belgorod.

It is noteworthy that Russia has been carrying out a special military operation in Donbass since February 24, 2022, with the aim of protecting the population of the Donbas region, eliminating threats to Russia's security, demilitarizing Ukraine and protecting the territories that recently joined Russia.
