The residents of the border town of Kafr Shuba in southern Lebanon today confronted the practices of an Israeli enemy force, which was digging a trench in one of the areas.

The Israeli enemy forces were provided with a bulldozer and the protection of Merkava tanks while they were digging a metre-long trench in the area of Birkat al-Naqar, and the residents were able to stop the bulldozer that withdrew to the Ramtha position.

Qassem Hashem, a member of the "Development and Liberation" bloc, said that what the Israeli enemy is doing in the Kfar Shuba heights is a new attack.

He added that the violations and aggressions carried out by the Israeli enemy are taking place without the international organization moving a finger, calling on the Lebanese government to submit an urgent complaint to the United Nations to stop the ongoing actions, because they constitute a new aggression, and for the international community to put an end to the actions of the Israeli enemy and its provocations that threaten security and stability.
