Occupied Jerusalem-SANA

Today, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the village of Al-Araqib in the Negev region of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 for the 217th time, since it was first demolished on July 27, 2010.

WAFA reported that the occupation forces stormed the village with a number of bulldozers, and demolished Palestinian tents for the sixth time this year after demolishing them 15 times last year, and 14 times in 2021.

About 800 Palestinians live in al-Araqib, who are steadfastly facing attempts by the occupation to uproot them from their land and displace them, and are once again erecting their tents made of wood and nylon covers, and several towns in the territories occupied in 1948 are witnessing an escalation in the demolition of homes and commercial, industrial and agricultural facilities, especially in Jaffa, Taybeh, um al-Fahm, Lod and the Negev.
