Kazakh journalist Ekmaral Batalova said that Syria has triumphed over the forces of international terrorism that do not want good and peace for Syria and its people.

Batalova, who recently visited Syria at the head of a Kazakh delegation carrying humanitarian aid, said in a television interview on the Zona Kazakh program in Astana that foreign powers spent a lot of money and wasted great efforts to manage and organize a fierce media campaign against Syria, but the Syrian people showed valor and steadfastness, and achieved victory over the forces of international terrorism and external intervention.

The Kazakh journalist expressed confidence that the situation in Syria is improving from day to day, noting the high performance of the Syrian delegation at the Jeddah summit.

Batalova pointed out that the humanitarian aid campaign for those affected by the earthquake in Syria was conducted spontaneously first, and then received the support of President Kassym-Tokayev, and popular committees were formed in various Kazakh cities to collect this aid, which was transported to Syria via cargo planes allocated to it by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Batalova oversaw the shipment of tons of Kazakh humanitarian aid to Syria and led a Kazakh humanitarian delegation that visited Damascus, Aleppo and Latakia and distributed aid, including traditional Kazakh circular tents.
